Information You Choose to Send
Search entries
A name, place, or other term entered in a search box is sent to the third-party provider that operates that tool. Taylor County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider may process the query under its own privacy notice and terms.
Messages
An email or contact message may include a name, email address, and any details the sender chooses to provide. Those messages are retained as needed to read, route, and answer the inquiry. They are not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law. Sensitive custody or identity data should be sent directly to the government custodian instead.
Technical Data Collected Automatically
Routine server, analytics, and advertising technologies may record technical details when a page loads. This information helps measure use and maintain the site. It may include:
- The internet protocol address used for the visit.
- Browser name, type, and version.
- Device category and operating system.
- Pages viewed and the time spent on them.
- The referring page or website, when available.
- The date and time of each request.
Cookies
Cookies and similar storage tools may be used to understand site activity, remember basic preferences, support advertising, and improve performance. Most browsers allow users to block or delete cookies. Turning them off may cause some search, preference, analytics, or advertising features to work differently.
How Information Is Used
Collected information is used only for operating and understanding the service. Typical purposes include:
- Keeping pages available, stable, and responsive.
- Sending a search request to the provider selected by the visitor.
- Learning which Taylor County record pages are useful.
- Finding abuse, broken links, and technical faults.
- Displaying advertising that may reflect general visitor interests.
Links and Outside Services
Links lead to the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office, the Florida Department of Corrections, court and statutory sources, federal locators, and third-party search services. Once a visitor follows an outside link, the destination’s privacy policy and data practices govern. Taylor County Released Inmates does not control those systems.
Advertising partners may use their own cookies or tracking technologies to measure ads and tailor what they display across websites. That processing occurs on the partner’s systems. Visitors should review the privacy and preference controls offered by the relevant network or destination.
Parties That May Receive Data
Personal information is not sold by Taylor County Released Inmates. Limited data may be available to the following parties when necessary for the stated function:
- Search partners that receive and process a visitor’s query.
- Analytics providers that measure traffic and page use.
- Advertising networks that deliver or assess advertisements.
- Law enforcement or another government body acting under a valid subpoena, court order, warrant, or other binding legal demand.
Reasonable Security Measures
Reasonable administrative and technical measures are used to protect information within the site’s control. No website, network, email system, or storage method can be guaranteed secure. Taylor County Released Inmates therefore cannot promise that information will never be lost, intercepted, accessed without permission, or affected by a security incident.
Visitors Under Eighteen
The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under eighteen. A parent or legal guardian who believes a minor sent personal data may use the Contacts page to request review and deletion of information held by the site. Requests concerning an agency record must go to that agency.
Choices About Personal Data
Subject to applicable law and the ability to verify a request, a person may ask to:
- Receive a copy of personal information held by the site.
- Correct information that is inaccurate.
- Delete information that the site is not required to retain.
- Object to or opt out of certain processing where that choice applies.
These choices apply only to information controlled by Taylor County Released Inmates. TCSO, FDC, the Taylor Clerk, search partners, and advertising providers each control their own records and request procedures.

This Privacy Notice may be revised as practices, services, or legal requirements change. A revised version takes effect when it is posted here with a new effective date. Visitors should return periodically if they want to review the current terms.
